I am sure that each one of you gets a huge amount of experience and skills in your respective expertise and domain areas, to make a difference for all those out there, who could benefit from learning you provide.

Post various postings, one of the standard responses I have received from people, is how to monetize their involvement in thelearningworld.com.

My response to this is simple, that we will not charge anything for students who wish to learn from www.thelearningworld.com. This model of monetizing goes against the basic philosophy that I have planned out for thelearningworld.com

Some of the many other options that came up from various people were :

1)Monetizing courses through ad placement on courses, so that visits translate into revenues for course creators

2) Linking courses to products and/or services.
3) Creating basic level courses for a subject, and then paying for advanced courses (I am still against this, but I am open to such advanced ourses happening outside thelearningworld.com)

I look forward to your participation through creating courses, advocating his to people who you feel are subject matter experts in their area to reate a free course and spreading the word, and to generally articipate through online meetings, ideation meet-ups, etc.

Thank you once again for participating in thelearningworld.com. Your participation gives me motivation, enthusiasm and determination to continue on my quest of creating the largest data repository of FREE structured learning in the world.

Warm Regards
Sanjeev Sarma
